COMMENTS
Feed with sinking flakes, live foods and freeze dried tubifex. Corydoras pandas are easy to keep. Corydoras panda will feed from the waste food on the bottom on the tank, helping to combat tank pollution. Small rounded gravel is a must so its barbels are not damaged. Gravel should be given a regular gravel vacuum to stop panda corys getting sick and perhaps dying.
BREEDING
Not easy but can be accomplished. Condition prospective parents on live or frozen foods. A 50% water change will stimulate conditioned fish into spawning. Gender cannot be determined from external features. The sex of the cory can be distinguished in adults as the female is noticably wider when looked upon from above. Females are slightly larger than the males, Eggs are laid singly on leaves of plants. Fry are delicate for the first 21 days of life. In this critical period, water changes must be administered with special care.
