| Corydoras rabauti tends to be more expensive than the common cories because it is usually wild caught. This species is a great candidate for the community fish tank, and is a typical representative for the Corydoras species normally available for sale. Corydoras rabauti are Peaceful and Schooling fish. Undemanding and highly recommended for beginners and community tanks. Corydoras rabuti will feed from the waste food on the bottom on the tank, helping to combat tank pollution. | |

| Gender Cannot be determined from external features. The sex of the cory can be distinguished in adults as the female is noticably wider when looked upon from above.Live foods for conditioning are essential. The female is chased by the male and they form the usual T position, with the female at the base of the male. The eggs are most often laid on the glass. Remove the parents after spawning, turn the lights off, and add some fungucide. Feed the fry with micro worms and crushed flake. | |
