| When fully grown, females are generally larger and plumper than males.Corydoras schwartzi is a little more expensive than other Corydoras as they have to be wild caught because they cannot be commercially bred. Personally, I could not speak higher of the Corydoras species as an aquarium fish. They come in many different variations and are small, peacful, and are very active. Like most species of Corydoras they should be kept in a shoal of at least 6 of their own kind since they are very active. They can also be kept in schools of many other different species of Cory. | |
| BREEDING AND CARE | |
| Corydoras schwartzi will feed from the waste food on the bottom on the tank, helping to combat tank pollution. An undemanding fish and highly recommended for beginners and community tanks. But breeding is said to be very difficult. | |
