| Cardinal Tetras are beautiful little tropical fish. It has a electic blue strip running from the nose to its tail and the lower part of its body has a red strip running from its nose to its tail. They look at there best when they are in a shoal of six or more. They should be kept in warm, soft, acidic water with a low pH. | |

| Cardinal Tetras are egg scatters. They lay their egg's in the subtrate. The Cardinal Tetras should be removed from the aquarium after spawning to prevent them eating the egg's. | |
