COMMENTS
Rosy Barb is a hardy, colourful fish, They are ideal for a community tank. Females are all gold and the males are gold with red flacks, Rosy barbs don't need to be kept in large shoals, they can be kept in pairs. They can be kept in unheated indoor aquariums, They prefer soft, acidic water with a low pH and also like a well planted tank with floating plants for cover.
BREEDING
Rosy Barbs are egg scatters. They lay their egg's in the subtrate. The Rosy Barbs should be removed from the aquarium after spawning to prevent them eating the egg's.
