| Black Ruby Barb is a colourful fish, it has a pale yellow golden colour with three black vertical stripes, Breeding males bodies changes to a dusky deep pink red colour and the head turn to a black red colour. They are ideal for a community tank. But they can be prone to whitespot disease. They prefer soft, acidic water with a low pH and also like a well planted tank with floating plants for cover. | |
