COMMENTS
Green tiger Barb is a colourful fish, it has a deep fluorescent green colour, with silver gold blotches with orange fins. Green tiger barb is an energetic fish that requires plenty places to swim. They prefer to be in shoals. They should not be housed with slow moving, large finned fish because Green tiger Barbs are fin nippers. They prefer soft, acidic water with a low pH and also like a well planted tank with floating plants for cover.
BREEDING
Green tiger Barbs are egg scatters. They lay their egg's in the subtrate. The Green tiger Barb should be removed from the aquarium after spawning to prevent them eating the egg's.
