| Cherry Barb is a colourful fish, it has a reddish brown colour, Breeding males have a brighter red colour, Females are more orange in colour and have a deeper belly. Cherry barb is one of the smaller barbs having a slimmer body than most others and the upper lip has a pair of bar bells. They are ideal for a small community tank. They should be housed with similar sized fish. They prefer soft, acidic water with a low pH and also like a well planted tank with floating plants for cover. | |
