COMMENTS
The Upside down Catfish is also known as the blotched Upside down Catfish, Its one of the smaller catfish. The Upside down Catfish is opaque with dark blotches and other markings. The Upside down Catfish prefer a planted tank and likes to eat live food, such as insect larvae. But will also eat fish flakes and will happily feed on algae the grows in an aquarium. The reason for the Upside down Catfish name is for its swimming behavior while it feeds at the surface on mosquito larvae.
BREEDING
The Upside down Catfish is very hard to breed. Too condition Upside down Catfish, feed them with plenty of live food especially mosquito larvae if available. One of the few Synodontis species to be bred in an aquarium.
