COMMENTS
Figure Eight Puffer-fish has a animated face and propeller like fins. Puffer fish get their name from their ability to inflate them selfs with water when startled. Puffers have two pairs of teeth which are fused giving them a beak like appearance and the ability to crush the shells of crustaceans. Figure Eight Puffer fish should be kept in a species only tank as they are notorious fin nippers which can become aggressive. Puffer fish should be fed shelled food once a week to control the growth of their teeth.
BREEDING
Its hard to breed Figure Eight Puffer fish, Its not known what conditions sets of spawning. They can start breeding for no apparent reason. A good diet and excellent water conditions would probably be the prerequisite for breeding.
